Visit our website: www.psychetruth.net Qigong Meditation Gathering Healing Qi by AOMA Natural Medicine & Acupuncture School Austin In this free video presented by AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas, Sarah Sires Bentley demonstrates the first qigong technique of this series, “Gathering Healing Qi from the Universe.” You can follow along at home. In a previous video, she spoke about qi (pronounced “chi”) and the practice of qigong, specifically Sheng Zhen Qigong, and its benefits. In addition to the physical fitness benefits of most exercise routines (improved circulation, weight loss, etc.) Sheng Zhen Qigong also offers mental and spiritual benefits such as stress relief, a calm mind, and an ability to handle stressful or painful situations. These exercises will help you relieve stress and escape from the busy, hectic lives we often lead. Similar to meditation, yoga, or stillness techniques, qigong offers many benefits to the mind, body and spirit. AOMA also offers this class and similar classes for free in addition to its regular graduate coursework. AOMA Graduate School offers a master’s-level graduate program in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. AOMA also conducts more than 20000 patient visits annually in its student and professional clinics. AOMA includes traditional Asian mind-body practices such as tai chi and qigong as an integral part of the curriculum and is one of very few acupuncture schools to begin clinical education for students

@sportzfan9 I have studied with Master Li Junfeng for over 9 years. Look him up online if you want to hear it from a Chinese master.

New Agers… man.
.

i don’t think I’ll ever comprehend their bs expressions and pseudo-science terms.
Why doesn’t she just explain that slow controlled movements are good for stress because it makes you retain posture and focus on simple operations. I’d buy into that.

Falun Gong is an awesome qigong practice and it’s free to learn at practice sites, and online.

shure taking time to breathe well is good for you…but the energy of the universe is a bit out there. Not to say New Age crap

Thank you PT for this lovely intro video!

Um…. Qi = Breath/Air. Gong = work. So basically it’s just taking time to breathe…

I love the idea of qi, and qigong, though a white American or Canadian lady may not seem as legit as a shoaling master or a monk, who has been working with around banking qi. The lady seems like she simply took sow course and is all text book

nice :)
