Q&A: What religions and cultures have health care limits and restrictions or use alternative medicine?

What religions and cultures have health care limits and restrictions or use alternative medicine?
I am writing a paper for my Sociology class and it got me thinking. I know that there are religions and cultures that chose not to participate in modern medicine or practice alternative medicine. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which religions and/or cultures have limits and restrictions and what they are. Please and thank you for helping feed my curiosity.

Jehovah’s Witnesses won’t give or accept blood, because accepting a transfusion is virtually the same as eating blood, whis is banned in the OT.
